How to choose standard Heat Shrinkable Tube

Heat Shrinkable Tube is one of the most widely used seals. Its characteristics include easy assembly, simple structural design, usable under dynamic or static pressure, low friction; it is oil-resistant, wear-resistant, heat-resistant, acid-resistant and other characteristics.

Therefore, different Heat Shrinkable Tube have different uses and advantages. There is no unique standard for selecting Heat Shrinkable Tube. You must choose materials and specifications according to your own circumstances. It depends on the industry and environment. If it is an ordinary building, door seal, or refrigerator, you can generally use TPE Special Material Braided Sleeve. EPDM and TPV materials are mostly used in automobiles. If heat resistance is required, then use special woven silicone sleeves.
In order to prevent damage to the Heat Shrinkable Tube before assembly, the maintenance performed during the period after the Special Material Braided Sleeve is removed from the packaging is called installation process maintenance. Before installation, if the heat Shrink Tube is damaged or the lip is contaminated by sand, debris, etc. Early failure of the Special Material Braided Sleeve after installation will cause leakage and oil leakage in the automobile transmission assembly. Therefore, the following maintenance work should be done before installation:
1. The workstation equipment for placing Special Material Braided Sleeve should be made of plastic that does not damage the Heat Shrinkable Tube part, and the workstation equipment should be kept clean.
2. The work station equipment for placing Heat Shrinkable Tube should be dedicated. Special Material Braided Sleeve cannot be mixed with other parts to avoid damage. The Special Material Braided Sleeve with external leakage skeleton should be placed to avoid damaging the rubber part of the adjacent Special Material Braided Sleeve.
3. During the installation process, the Special Material Braided Sleeve should be prevented from being contaminated by sand, debris or other foreign matter, and the lips of the Special Material Braided Sleeve should not be directly touched with hands.
4. When installing a Special Material Braided Sleeve with an inner frame, a layer of lubricating oil should be applied to the outer edge of the Special Material Braided Sleeve to reduce damage to the rubber part of the outer edge of the Special Material Braided Sleeve during assembly and facilitate installation in place.
5. The lip of the Heat Shrinkable Tube should be greased before assembly and the grease should be kept clean.
6. Uniform speed and pressure should be used during assembly. Prevents Special Material Braided Sleeve from damage and spring detachment.
