How to prevent frosting of Nylon Braided Sleeve?

Blooming of Nylon Braided Sleeve is the appearance of liquid or solid compound moving from the inside of the Braided Sleeve to the surface of the knitted sleeves. Spraying of Braided Sleeve includes spraying of rubber surface and finished product. It can be seen that the compounding agent inside the Braided Sleeve is separated, which constitutes the frosting, while the frosting on the surface of the Braided Sleeve is often complex and rarely single. There are always primary and secondary points in the complex composition of spray frost, because the compounding agents interact with each other in the Braided Sleeve, as long as one compounding agent is sprayed out, it will destroy the uniformity of the entire compounding agent in the Braided Sleeve and produce a concentration gradient , so that it is easy to make other compounding ingredients ejected along with the ejection of the former compounding agent. Therefore, in order to prevent blooming, we must first analyze the main components in blooming, and then take measures to prevent it according to the cause of blooming.

(1) Adjust the formula
Frosting mainly depends on the formula design of the Braided Sleeve. If the amount of compounding agent exceeds its maximum amount in the Braided Sleeve during formula design, it will cause blooming on the surface of the Braided Sleeve.
First of all, limit the amount of compounding agent: when designing the formula, the amount of compounding agent must be limited to the maximum amount allowed by the storage and use conditions of the Braided Sleeve. For this reason, you can choose a compounding agent whose solubility parameter is close to that of raw rubber; or use several compounding agents together, so as to achieve the same effect and avoid the blooming of the compounding agent.
Secondly, improve the type of raw rubber: the same compounding agent has different solubility in different raw rubber, and the solubility parameters of different raw rubber are also different. Therefore, when the performance of the Braided Sleeve meets the requirements of use, it is possible to reduce the number of compounding agents by selecting or using raw rubber with high solubility; selecting raw rubber with similar solubility parameters to the compounding agent; selecting or using raw rubber with better performance required Dosage and other measures to avoid the blooming of the compounding agent.
(2) Improvement process
First, improve the dispersibility of the compounding agent: increase the dispersibility of the compounding agent in the Braided Sleeve by lowering the mixing temperature, prolonging the mixing time, increasing the number of thin passes and operations, or adding a dispersant (leveling agent) to the formula to disperse evenly.
Secondly, increase the vulcanization degree of the product: increase the vulcanization degree by prolonging the vulcanization time, increasing the vulcanization temperature, etc., to avoid frosting caused by the lack of sulfur in the product.
(3) Improve storage conditions
First of all, to improve storage conditions and avoid frosting of Braided Sleeve, the following measures should be taken. Lower the storage temperature and strictly prohibit sunlight; reduce the air humidity to make the storage environment dry and ventilated; shorten the storage cycle and avoid long-term storage; avoid the knitting sleeves from being squeezed and rubbed against each other, so that they can be placed alone or on racks.
