Reasons for poor quality of Pattern Braided Sleeve

The Pattern Braided Sleeve are woven with environmentally friendly PET and other materials, and have good wear resistance, expandability, smoothness, flame retardancy, air permeability and heat dissipation performance. The products are commonly used in computer power cords, audio and video cables, lighting fixtures, refrigerators, washing machines and other electrical products as well as optical cables, motorcycles, vehicles, airports and other routes for maintenance and decoration. According to customer requirements, the Pattern Braided Sleeve of different widths, colors and patterns can be woven with brushed or three-wire.

(I) Common reasons for defects of general Pattern Braided Sleeve

1. First, there is the problem of the material itself. If the PET filaments produced by pellets are generally not heat-resistant, and the woven equipment is uneven and has no gloss.

2. In the production process, the yarn is not carefully beaten, resulting in one or two yarns in the middle that are not neatly combined, and yarn skipping will occur during weaving.

(II) The key factors of the quality of braided cable accessories are diverse, generally including the following aspects

1. Electrical performance. The quality of electrical performance is the main criterion for evaluating the quality of cable accessories. It mainly considers whether the electromagnetic field distribution of cable accessories is effective, whether the method of improving the electrostatic field distribution is appropriate, the electrical strength of the material, dielectric loss and insulation margin of the product, etc. At the same time, the stability of electrical performance must also be considered, including the chemical, physical properties and structural stability of the cable accessory materials, such as whether the performance of the ground stress control material is stable, whether the ground stress cone is easy to deform, the impact of cable insulation shrinkage on the electromagnetic field distribution of cable accessories and preventive measures, the compatibility of various materials, the stability of the performance of the combined interface, etc. In addition, the thermal performance of cable accessories should also be considered, such as dielectric loss, the loop resistance and stability of the conductor connection, the transmission and release of heat, and the interference of thermal expansion and contraction on the electrical and mechanical properties of each component.

2. Sealing performance. Sealing water-proof performance directly affects the electrical performance and service life of cable accessories. Whether the sealing structure of the terminal is reliable and stable. Generally speaking, the intermediate joint should also have a corresponding metal water-proof housing, especially for direct burial or use in humid environments.

3. Mechanical performance. The terminal should have sufficient bending strength and seismic resistance. The intermediate joint should be able to withstand some tensile strength and prevent damage from external forces.

4. Processing performance. Processing performance is an important criterion for the design and model selection of cable accessories. The installation process should be as simple as possible, conducive to on-site construction, with a short construction period, low requirements on the on-site environment and the technical strength of employees, easy to control assembly quality, and reliable quality.
