Technical Standards for Nomex Braided Sleeve

This standard applies to Nomex Braided Sleeve used as sensitive components, sealing connection components and compensating components in instrumentation and automatic control mechanisms.

1. The type, basic parameters and dimensions of the Nomex Braided Sleeve shall comply with the provisions of JB1111-68 "Circular single-layer metal Nomex Braided Sleeve type, basic parameters and dimensions",
And manufactured in accordance with the technical documents approved by the prescribed procedures.
2. The materials for making Nomex Braided Sleeve should be brass H80, tin phosphor bronze QSn6.5-0.1, iron bronze QBe2 and stainless steel 1Cr18Ni9Ti (if there are special requirements,
Other materials can be used upon agreement between the purchaser and the manufacturer).
3. The rigidity of the Nomex Braided Sleeve should meet the requirements in the JB1111-68 standard.
4. The zero offset of the Nomex Braided Sleeve under the allowable displacement shall not exceed the regulations in Table 2.
5. Nomex Braided Sleeve should ensure airtightness.
6. Nomex Braided Sleeve should be guaranteed to work normally within the pressure resistance range specified in the standard JB1111-68.
7. The shape error of Nomex Braided Sleeve shall not exceed the regulations in Table 3:
8. The surface condition of Nomex Braided Sleeve should be:
(1) The copper alloy Nomex Braided Sleeve is allowed to have a passivated surface and a uniformly oxidized (dark layer) surface obtained after temperature stabilization or aging treatment;
(2) Nomex Braided Sleeve are allowed to have an electropolished glossy surface and a sandblasted surface.
9. The outer surface of the Nomex Braided Sleeve should be free from scratches (felt by fingernails), cracks, dents, inclusions, and rust; slight marks on the parting surface of the forming mold are allowed.
10. For special performance requirements, it can be stipulated separately through the agreement between the orderer and the manufacturer.
