The role of Pattern Braided Sleeve

For wires, Pattern Braided Sleeve are a form of lightweight protective layer. Its main function is to protect the insulation layer from or reduce the damage caused by various light, heat, moisture, ultra-low temperature, strong acid and alkali exhaust gases, and external mechanical forces, to ensure the operation of the wire. For cables, Pattern Braided Sleeve are usually in the middle of the sheath to increase the wear resistance of the sheath. For example, thickened sheaths are made by adding cotton yarn and Pattern Braided Sleeve inside the rubber or plastic sheath to increase the sheath strength.

1. Shielding effect of anti-interference signals, such as blue cables with Pattern Braided Sleeve, frequency conversion cables with copper wire braids, etc.

2. Shielding effect of eliminating the potential difference on the surface of wires and cables. It restrains the cable and eliminates the induced current, such as the total shielding of high-voltage cables.

3. Shielding effect of protection. Weaving copper wire outside the main core insulation layer and connecting it to the ground core or used as a grounding wire can immediately reflect the leakage status, such as shielded mining cables.

(1) Mechanical protection function. Such as CF31 type of ship wire and cable.

(2) Bear vertical tearing force, such as WC-GC and WCT type magnetic cables for deep-sea geological survey.
