The use and safety matters of Automotive Wiring Harness Protection Sleeve

1. Precautions for using hoses
①Be sure to use knitted sleeves within the recommended temperature and pressure range.
②The Automotive Wiring Harness Protection Sleeve expands and contracts with its internal pressure. Please cut the woven sleeve to a length slightly longer than you need.
③When applying pressure, please open and close any valve slowly to avoid shock pressure.
④ Please use the Automotive Wiring Harness Protection Sleeve under conditions above its bending radius, otherwise the Braided Sleeve will break and the pressure resistance will be reduced.
⑤ When using powder or granules, it may be easy to wear depending on the conditions. Please enlarge the bending radius of the knitted sleeve as much as possible.
⑥Do not use it near metal parts in an extremely bent state.
⑦Do not put the knitted sleeve in direct contact with or near an open flame.
⑧Do not step on the knitted sleeve with a vehicle or the like.
⑨The knitted sleeve used must be suitable for the fluid being transported.
⑩Please consult the product supplier before using knitted sleeves with oils, powders, toxic chemicals, and strong acids or alkalis.
2. Matters needing attention during assembly
①Please choose the knitted sleeve joint that suits the size of the knitted sleeve.
② When inserting the tube end of the joint into the Braided Sleeve, apply oil on the Braided Sleeve and the tube end, and do not bake it with fire. If it cannot be inserted, you can use hot water to heat the knitted sleeve and insert the connector.
③Please insert the serrated tube end of the connector completely into the Braided Sleeve.
④Do not use connectors that can be pushed in once, as this may cause the knitted sleeve to rupture.
⑤ Please avoid excessive ligation with wire and choose a special sleeve or tie.
⑥Please avoid using damaged or rusted connectors.
3. Matters needing attention during inspection
① Inspection before use: Before using the knitted sleeve, please confirm whether there are any abnormal trauma, hardening, softening, discoloration, etc. on the appearance of the knitted sleeve.
② Regular inspection: During the period of use of the knitted sleeve, please be sure to perform a regular inspection once a month.
4. Safety matters
① Operators must wear safety protective clothing, including gloves, rubber boots, and eye protection. These equipment are mainly used to protect the operator's safety.
②Ensure that the work area is safe and orderly.
③ Check whether the joint on each Cable Sleeve is firm.
④ When not in use, do not leave the Cable Sleeve in a pressure-resistant state. Closing pressure extends the service life of cable bushings.
