What do you need to know about installing Heat Shrinkable Braided Sleeve?

(1) A hydraulic pressure test should be conducted separately before installation of the Heat Shrinkable Braided Sleeve. The chloride ion content of the test water should not exceed 25ppm. After passing the pressure test, it should be blown dry with clean compressed air in a timely manner and sealed for protection.

(2) The installation of Heat Shrinkable Braided Sleeve must be carried out in accordance with the design requirements and instructions for use. Any changes must be approved by the design.
(3) When installing the Heat Shrinkable Braided Sleeve, avoid extreme bending at and near the joint. Steel elbows can be used to keep the Special Material Braided Sleeve in a straight state and keep the Special Material Braided Sleeve in a straight state at the connection part.
(4) During pipeline installation, ensure that the installation axis of the Special Material Braided Sleeve is in the same plane as its working direction to avoid distortion of the Special Material Braided Sleeve. In addition, when installing the Special Material Braided Sleeve or flange, attention should also be paid to keeping the Special Material Braided Sleeve in a free position. status to prevent the Special Material Braided Sleeve from being distorted by installation due to misalignment of the tightening threads or the screw holes of the connecting flange.
(5) When installing the Special Material Braided Sleeve hanger, ensure that the movable pulley has sufficient movement. In addition, according to the actual conditions of the installation site, special brackets can be added to ensure that the Special Material Braided Sleeve will not be distorted when working. As shown in Figure 3, adding a lower baffle prevents the Special Material Braided Sleeve from bending horizontally; adding an upper baffle prevents the Special Material Braided Sleeve from bending upward due to media impact.
(6) During the installation process, reliable protection measures should be taken for the outer surface of the Special Material Braided Sleeve to prevent damage to the steel wire of the mesh sleeve or damage to the Heat Shrinkable Braided Sleeve.
(7) When welding near Special Material Braided Sleeve, avoid the welding handle or the wire touching the Special Material Braided Sleeve to prevent the mesh sleeve from breaking or puncture the Heat Shrinkable Braided Sleeve. Care should also be taken to prevent welding spatter from damaging the mesh wire.
(8) Heat Shrinkable Braided Sleeve cannot participate in the pressure test of the equipment piping system, let alone system purging. Prevent debris in the system from impacting the inner wall of the Special Material Braided Sleeve and causing mechanical damage.
