Nomex Braided Sleeve is an accessory to cable sleeving, mainly used for conveying liquids, gases, liquids and gas-solid mixtures. Nomex Braided Sleeve has the characteristics of certain elasticity, wear resistance, certain pressure bearing capacity, no leakage (good air tightness), low adsorption capacity, high temperature resistance, not easy to aging, no swelling, corrosion resistance, low sedimentation and so on. However, during use, due to incorrect installation of the Nomex Braided Sleeve or a certain degree of corrosion by the liquid, it will cause premature wear and abnormal wear of the hose. What are the main reasons?

First, if a damaged Nomex Braided Sleeve looks like a sharp cut, it is usually caused by the hub and flange edge of the cable sleeving head. The cause of this damage is usually because the hose in the pump head is too long. When the Cable Sleeve water head is running, the hose vibrates in the pump head and touches the flange edge of the flow channel, and the flange edge of the hose is constantly Rub and cut the hose. This damage process can be very fast, usually complete failure within ten minutes or so. With the rupture of the pump tube, a large amount of hose residue will appear in the pump at the same time.
Secondly, the hose is completely flat, the ability to rebound is lost, the wall thickness of the hose is thinned, and the surface is severely worn. The main reasons for this phenomenon are the deadlock of the flow channel, the contact between the pressure block of the Cable Sleeve and the surface of the pump tube, the impurities on the flow channel, and the high speed of the pump. After the flow channel of the water head of the Cable Sleeve is stuck, the flow channel of the Cable Sleeve directly scratches the Nomex Braided Sleeve, which increases the friction on the surface of the hose, increases the temperature of the surface of the hose, and wears the surface of the hose. Excessive heat can also cause the hose to lose its elasticity. In extreme cases, temperatures exceeding 140 degrees can even cause the hose to dissolve and deform.
Finally, Nomex Braided Sleeve may carry different fluids, some of which will corrode and dissolve some hoses. If we see Nomex Braided Sleeve become brittle, stiff, lose their elasticity, discolor, swell, break, etc., then it is usually due to the hose not being able to carry the fluid.
