There are many reasons for the quality problems of PEEK Braided Sleeve, some are the quality problems of the hose, some are the structural design problems of the metal core, some are processing quality problems, and some are unreasonable in use (such as the hose bending radius is too small during installation, there is kink phenomenon ), poor environmental conditions and other reasons. The tooth shape structure has been varied, such as groove shape, zigzag shape, wave shape, arc shape and so on. With the groove-shaped structure, the hose bears a large locking force and has anti-slip teeth. The core is generally not easy to fall off and has high strength. The zigzag structure has a relatively small binding force, and the advantage is that it is convenient for the core to be inserted into the hose, and the assembly efficiency is high. The wavy and arc-shaped structure, because the transition of each tooth shape is smooth, there is no excessive stress concentration point, and the assembly is more labor-saving, but also because of this, the bonding force of the PEEK Braided Sleeve is relatively lower. In actual production, which structural form to choose to achieve the purpose of the best sealing performance, the highest pull-out strength, and the longest pulse life is mainly selected according to the operating pressure and working conditions, the structure of the rubber hose, and the mechanical properties of the inner tube. and ok.
Although the tooth shape structure of the core is different, the composition elements are basically the same, mainly including the tooth shape major diameter d and the tooth shape bottom diameter d1. as large as possible. The value of the major diameter of the tooth shape must be cautious. If the value is too large, it will increase the difficulty of assembly; if the value is too small, the performance of the PEEK Braided Sleeve will be affected. Under normal circumstances, the major diameter of the tooth shape is slightly larger than the inner hole of the steel wire hose by 0.2-0.3mm. Tooth height also has a great influence on the performance of PEEK Braided Sleeve. The larger the tooth height, the greater the locking force on the hose, and at the same time, the greater the risk of cutting the hose; if the tooth height is too small, the locking force on the hose will be lower. Usually, the tooth height is preferably 0.5mm, that is, "d1=d-1mm".
In addition, in order to ensure the performance of the PEEK Braided Sleeve, as well as the convenience of assembly and use, the following points should be considered when designing the core:
Core inner hole size. In the case of ensuring the thinnest wall thickness of the core, the larger the water hole, the more
it is good. The minimum can not be less than 5mm.
Core deflection angle (α). In order to facilitate the insertion of the core into the steel wire hose, the core is generally provided with an inversion angle. The smaller the inclination angle, the axial resistance when the core body is inserted into the steel wire hose
smaller. Generally, the inversion angle is 30°, and the inversion length is about 3mm.
