Many products always have some defective products during production, and Kevlar Braided Sleeve are the same. In the normal production process, Kevlar Braided Sleeve are damaged due to some process errors. In fact, there are other reasons. Let me explain to you below:

1. First understand the poor manufacturing quality of Kevlar Braided Sleeve assembly

①The inner and outer layers of the pipe wall are oil-resistant rubber, and the middle is cross-braided steel wire or wound steel wire.
② Improper selection of crimping amount and crimping speed when assembling with the joint, or unreasonable selection of the structure, material and size of the joint, can cause the pipe and joint to be too tight or too loose, resulting in early damage to the joint.
During assembly, if the crimping amount is too small, that is, when the joint and the Cable Sleeve are pressed too loosely, the Cable Sleeve may come out of the joint at the beginning of use under the action of oil pressure; if the crimping amount is too large, the joint If it is pressed too tightly with the Cable Sleeve, it will easily cause the inner layer of the Cable Sleeve to be partially damaged and cracks will be generated. The high-pressure oil will directly enter the steel wire layer from the crack, and then escape along the gap between the steel wires to the tail of the jacket, or it will be sprayed along the steel wire. Layers go somewhere and accumulate, causing the outer layer of glue to bulge or even rupture.
When assembling with the joint, if the crimping speed is too fast, it is easy to cause damage to the inner rubber and breakage of the steel wire layer, causing premature damage to the Cable Sleeve during use.
In addition, unreasonable joint design and poor processing quality will also cause damage to the inner rubber; if the joint material is not properly selected, it will easily deform during the crimping process, which will affect the crimping quality and shorten the life of the Kevlar Braided Sleeve.
Second, why there is poor quality
①The wall thickness is uneven; the steel wire braiding is too tight, too loose or the number of steel wire layers is too small;
②The deformation of the Cable Sleeve is relatively large after being pressurized;
③ Poor airtightness of the outer layer of rubber leads to corrosion of the steel wire; poor sealing of the inner layer of rubber makes it easy for high-pressure oil to enter the steel wire layer; the adhesion between the rubber layer and the steel wire layer is insufficient.
The above-mentioned conditions will reduce the bearing capacity of the pipe, and finally burst at the weak part of the pipe wall.
3. Improper use of Kevlar Braided Sleeve
Under the premise that the quality is guaranteed, if it is used improperly, the service life of the pipe will be greatly shortened. In actual work, most of the damage to high-voltage Cable Sleeve is caused by improper use.
① Subject to frequent and severe pressure shocks. The bursting of high-voltage Cable Sleeve is generally not caused by too much static pressure, but is related to the severity and frequency of pressure shocks. When construction machinery is in operation, the oil pressure in the oil pipe will repeatedly rise or fall suddenly, which constitutes frequent pressure shocks on the oil pipe, resulting in aggravated damage to the oil seal of each part, blistering and rupture of the Cable Sleeve, and damage to the pipe joint. Loose leakage phenomenon. Therefore, during operation, the valve stem should not be pulled too hard, but must be gentle.
②The operating temperature of the oil is too high. During the operation of construction machinery, the hydraulic system will heat up the oil due to power loss, and the influence of the outside air temperature will cause the oil temperature to rise sharply. The higher the operating temperature of the oil, the easier it is to age, the elasticity will deteriorate, the strength and sealing performance will decrease, and the Cable Sleeve will burst soon. Therefore, in operation, when the temperature rises too high or too fast in the hydraulic system, the cause should be found out in time and eliminated; in summer operation, especially in continuous operation, necessary cooling measures should be taken.
③ Unreasonable selection and installation of cable bushings. When replacing the Kevlar Braided Sleeve, the length of the selected Cable Sleeve, the number of layers of steel wire, the shape and size of the joint should be reasonable, and the bending of the Cable Sleeve should be minimized; when tightening the joint nut, do not make the Cable Sleeve Distortion, excessive bending and twisting will greatly reduce the service life of the Cable Sleeve; protective measures should be taken for some parts that are prone to friction to prevent the tube from bursting due to wear.
